Our Initiative

It is a great pleasure to introduce a new addition to the Syrian microfinance industry – the Syrian Microfinance Center (SMC). We are currently the first microfinance center in Syria dedicated to providing quality services to organizations like yours.

Our approach is based on the simple idea that the success of our clients is our success.

We are a team of experienced professionals skilled in applying a wide range of microfinance models. Our services adhere to international industry standards, such as CGAP, MicroSave, SUM, ILO, and the SEEP network, among others.

Although microfinance is a major global financial sector, it is still unknown or unincluded as a strategic financial industry in Syria. The key challenge that has been faced from the beginning was the difficulty of looking at this industry in a sustainable way.

To provide high-quality consulting, training, and research services to banks and microfinance institutions, aiming to develop a socially oriented and financially sustainable Syrian microfinance sector that can play a greater role in serving an excluded population from the regular financial industry.
